• Usage data: Pages visited, time on site, browser type and country — collected anonymously via Google Analytics to help us improve the site.
• Contact form submissions: Your name, email address and message when you use our contact form. Used only to respond to your enquiry.
• Newsletter subscriptions: Your email address if you choose to subscribe to our newsletter.
• Portfolio Tracker data: Stored entirely in your browser’s local storage. We have zero access to your portfolio data. It never leaves your device.
• Trust Engine searches: Token addresses or exchange names entered into our verifier. We do not store these or link them to your identity.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To respond to contact form enquiries and support requests
• To send newsletters if you have subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• To understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it
• To comply with legal obligations where required

We never sell your data. We never share your data with advertisers. We do not run advertising on Cryptosmap.

4. Affiliate Links & Third Parties

Cryptosmap may contain affiliate links to third-party platforms such as crypto exchanges and hardware wallet providers. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Affiliate relationships never affect our ratings, reviews or editorial content. Our Trust Engine scores are never for sale. We only recommend platforms we have independently reviewed.

We retain contact form data for up to 12 months. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained in anonymised form for up to 26 months as per Google Analytics defaults.

10. Children’s Privacy

Cryptosmap is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of Cryptosmap after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
